Arneada Foundation for Cultural Development

Arnyad Foundation for Cultural Development is a non-governmental, non-profit civil society organization licensed (52/M/2024) by the Office of the Ministry of Social Affairs and Labor in Taiz Governorate. It focuses on cultural affairs and strives to connect Yemeni cultural structures with vital sectors such as education, health, economy, environment, and media. The goal is to make culture a driving force for peace and sustainable development in Yemen. Arnyad relies on the efforts of youth and women and believes that beauty, innovation, and critical thinking are fundamental pillars of cultural development. It adopts a modern and well-governed cultural management approach, rejecting all forms of discrimination based on gender, color, race, or religion, and provides an inclusive space for all community members to contribute to enriching the cultural field and spreading knowledge.

Mashaqer Media

Mashaqer Center for Heritage, Arts, and Media is a local community organization that initially began as a web platform in 2019, working to revitalize Yemen's cultural scene by publishing cultural, artistic, and heritage materials and producing visual cultural content. It was established in response to the media’s lack of focus on cultural and artistic aspects, instead prioritizing war developments in Yemen. In 2022, it was officially registered as a center in Taiz. Mashaqer highlights and promotes various artistic and cultural initiatives, playing an active role within Yemen’s cultural institutions. It maintains broad connections with cultural actors and emerging institutions in this field.

Wai Heritage Organization

Wai is an independent, non-profit organization established in 2022 and registered with the Ministry of Social Affairs and Labor under license number (68-M-2022). It is led by a group of experts and activists in heritage and environmental conservation. Wai aims to protect and preserve cultural heritage and the environment while strengthening cultural identity and environmental resilience through protection projects, empowerment programs, and capacity-building initiatives in partnership with local and international entities.

Miyon Salon

Miyon Literary and Cultural Salon is a space where minds meet, fostering communication among intellectuals, writers, and thinkers. It serves as a platform for intellectual enlightenment, discussion, reading, and creativity in all literary, artistic, and cultural fields. Sutoor Cultural Salon

Sutoor Cultural Salon is a cultural organization dedicated to promoting awareness and knowledge through diverse literary and intellectual activities. It aims to create youth-friendly spaces that encourage dialogue, cultural openness, and artistic expression. The foundation organizes discussion sessions, seminars, and workshops focusing on contemporary literary and intellectual issues. Additionally, it helps develop youth skills in reading, criticism, and analysis through specialized training programs in writing, cultural project management, and content creation. Sutoor also promotes reading culture by providing a periodic space for intellectuals and enthusiasts to engage in meaningful discussions, enriching the cultural landscape in Taiz and Yemen.

Seen 12 Platform

Seen 12 is an independent cultural and artistic platform that provides unique and engaging media content on Yemeni culture and arts through diverse and innovative formats. It relies on a team of young male and female journalists and artists, covering topics related to the seven arts while offering a dedicated space for women's and youth issues, as well as peacebuilding efforts. Seen 12 goes beyond media content by organizing cultural and artistic events, producing short films, publishing research and studies on arts and culture, and facilitating networking opportunities between artists and cultural institutions to enhance the cultural and artistic scene.

Light Art Initiative

Light Art is a youth-led initiative founded in May 2022 to ensure the participation of young men and women in peace and climate-related issues. The initiative showcases its work through collective artistic efforts, including visual, auditory, literary, and fine arts. Light Art firmly believes in advocating for peace and climate action through art, which has a lasting impact on audiences.
